What should you do if a side window of your car is broken and the stereo system has been stolen?
- Call the police immediately and mark down the police report number.
- To avoid further damage, contact one of our specialists to carry out the necessary repairs and keep your invoices. See our list of approved auto repair shops and body shops or approved automotive glass repair specialists if you don't already have one in mind.
- Contact our Claims Department to report the loss as soon as possible.
Deductible if the loss affects two insurance contracts
When a loss causes damage to the vehicle and to personal property inside the vehicle, you would normally be required to pay two deductibles.
However, at La Capitale, we handle things differently! If both your vehicle and your personal property are insured with La Capitale, you'll only need to pay the higher of the two deductibles.
