La Capitale donates $25,000 to the Red Cross to assist victims of the tornado that hit the Ottawa Valley

September 25, 2018 – La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services is donating $25,000 to the Red Cross to support those impacted by the tornado that touched down in the Ottawa-Gatineau region this past Friday. As well, La Capitale has dispatched additional staff and its corporate motorhome, which it has converted to a mobile claims centre, in view of the circumstances.

Our advisors are making themselves available to meet with our insureds who have suffered a loss, in order to support them and provide for their insurance needs.

Since Sunday, La Capitale’s corporate motorhome has been at 28 Du Mont-Bleu Blvd, in Gatineau, open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will remain there until Friday, September 28. Those insured with La Capitale may also open a claim by calling us at 1 800 461-0770.

La Capitale also wishes to make the public aware that its psychological assistance service is available to all of its insured clients who have suffered a loss covered under an automobile or home insurance policy.

In line with its mutualist values, La Capitale is contributing to the support and solidarity being extended to the victims of this catastrophic event and is doing everything humanly possible to quickly meet the needs of its insured clients who have suffered a loss.
