La Capitale opens its first boutique branch at the MUHC

Montreal, September 7, 2016 – La Capitale Insurance and Financial Group earlier today celebrated the official opening of its first boutique branch. It gives the 12,000 healthcare professionals working at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) access to La Capitale's full range of products and services.

“It's a real privilege for La Capitale to be present on site in the facilities of one of the most innovative hospitals in North America,” declared Jean St-Gelais, La Capitale's Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. “Since our Mutual was founded by public service employees over 75 years ago, our priority always has been to offer public service employees attractive products and outstanding service.”

Healthcare workers have a particularly hectic lifestyle, and their time is precious. In line with its mutualist values of putting people first, La Capitale is demonstrating innovation with this new modern, dynamic, user-friendly branch concept.

MUHC employees and visitors will now have onsite access to personalized advice on all aspects regarding their financial security and peace of mind. They can use the interactive tablets available to check out the products and services and request a quote. Information sessions on a variety of relevant topics will also be held at the boutique branch.

“MUHC employees take care of their patients' physical and mental health. In return, La Capitale takes care of their financial health,” said Mr. St-Gelais.

La Capitale's boutique branch, located in the MUHC's commercial galleria (1001 Décarie Blvd, Ground Level – Commercial Galleria, Montreal), is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
